I was completely dreading day 2. I was aching and thought it would be impossible to complete. However, I managed to complete most of the exercises and didn't feel like I was about to die quite as much as I did the day previous.
I also used heavier weights as I didn't think I was pushing myself quite as much as I could.
However, the challenge lies with today. My calves and thighs are wrecked, I can barely walk, but I'm hoping that once I done a few warm ups, I should be OK. Fingers crossed.
I can't wait to get to day 6 and 7 where hopefully I should be seeing some results! I've also done my "before" shots, so it's just a case of completing the next 27 days!!

So, I got the DVD and read the back cover, and thought "20 minutes, how hard can it be?".
Turns out, quite hard.
I can't really put my finger on why I found it so difficult, but at the end I was totally exhausted and today I'm aching terribly.
I ended the workout feeling really worked out on my legs, but I have to be honest that I didn't really feel anything on my stomach or arms. Today my shoulders are a little stiff, but nothing to write home about. Maybe this is because in the past I've worked quite hard on my arms and stomach, or maybe the weights I'm using aren't heavy enough.
It's going to be difficult to do Day 2, but know I have to do it tonight otherwise I just won't do it ever again.
In my family for Mothers Day and Fathers day, that's always extended to our grandparents as well as our parents.
So, on this Fathers Day, I want to say thank you to my amazing dad, who's always been there for me, through thick and thin. He's such an inspiration to me and I aspire to be like him.
And also I want to remember my Grampy, who passed away 4 1/2 years ago. He was the kindest, most gentlest man I've ever known. I miss him so much, everyday.Happy Fathers Day xx

I haven't blogged in ages!! The thought "oh, I'll start a blog", is much easier than the reality. I find it amazing that people are able to blog evey day and aspire to do this myself!!
But, I guess an important thing is to not blog for bloggings sake - but instead for record interesting and important events and thoughts. I think this is part of my journey with this blog, to find out what's important to me.
So, what have I been up to? Well to follow from the last blog, I HAVE MY IPHONE!! And I love it! A part of me didn't want to become "another person with an iphone", but now there's no going back! I love the simplicity of it, I love how clean the interface is, and it's oh so shiny!! In comparason, the android was so customisable it actually made it clunky and hard work. I find I've been taking more photos, and instagram-ing more!
I've also been workingquite a lot. My work is very important to me, but I'm sure that will become clear as this blog grows.
I've just finished a big project, so, with a quieter time approaching, I'm going to start another challenge, which I'm hoping will help with my blogging too!!!
I'm doing the 30 Day Shred - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jillian-Michaels-Day-Shred-DVD/dp/B002RNOS2Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339766156&sr=8-1
Once it's down on my blog, there's no going back, right?!
I have literally just ordered said DVD, so hopefully it will arrive early next week and I can start this new challenge!!
Watch this (hopefully soon to be shrinking) space!!
